Privacy policy
The short version: your journal is yours. We can’t read it, we don’t sell data, and you can delete everything at any time.

This page is placeholder copy written for the Ebb template. Replace it with a policy that reflects how your own product handles data.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and the settings you choose, such as your reminder time. We also collect anonymous usage events, like which screens are opened, so we can make Ebb better. We never collect the content of your entries.
Your entries stay private
Entries, mood check-ins and voice notes are encrypted on your device before they sync. The keys never leave your phone, which means nobody at Ebb can read what you write, and neither can anyone who gains access to our servers.
How we use your information
We use your email to send account notices and, if you opt in, a short monthly newsletter. Usage events help us find bugs and decide what to build next. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t show ads.
Your choices
You can export your journal at any time as PDF or Markdown. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers within 30 days. You can also turn off anonymous analytics from Settings → Privacy.
Children
Ebb is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
